Scheme For Removal of Encroachments, 1983

In pursuance of section 30 of the Evacuee Trust Properties (Management and Disposal) Act, 1975 (XIII of 1975), the Evacuee Trust Property Board, with the prior approval of the Federal Government conveyed vide No.5(102)/80-ETP, dated the 15th October, 1983, has financial the following scheme, namely:-
  • Short title and commencement:
  1. The scheme may be called the Removal of Encroachments and Demolitition of Unauthorized Structures on the Evacuee Trust Properties Scheme, 1983.
  2. It shall come into force at once.
  • Power of the Chairman
Power of the Chairman, etc., to order demolition of Encroachments. The Chairman, an Administrator, a Deputy Administrator of an Assistant Administrator hereinafter referred to as the authorized officer, may order the removal of any encroachment made on or over an evacuee trust property and may also order the demolition of unauthorized structures thereon, whether temporary or permanent.
