Press Clipping , National Day of Minorities, a ceremony organised by ETPB

On the occasion of National Day of Minorities, a dignified ceremony was held at Dyal Singh Library Hall under the auspices of Mataruka Waqf Amalak Board.

Chairman Board Habib Rehman Gilani presided over the event, Additional Secretary Shirans Rana Shahid Saleem, Deputy Secretary Shirans Muhammad Imran Gondal and Deputy Secretary General Syed Faraz Abbas welcomed the guests.

Board member Dr. Sohail Raza, Sikh leader Prof. Kalyan Singh, Bishop Shahid Miraj, Hindu leader Amar Nath Randhawa, Jacqueline Tressler, Maulana Abdul Rahman, Dr. Mampal Singh and other personalities participated in the event.

Board spokesperson Aamir Hussain Hashmi, Dr. Abdul Razzaq, Principal Bushra Mujahid and others were also present

According to the Constitution of Pakistan, minorities are being given all the privileges and facilities and their places of worship are being made beautiful as well as safe, said the Chairman Board.

Along with free education facilities for minority children, their scholarship has also been increased. We are all one. Serving minorities is our religious and constitutional duty, Habib-ur-Rehman Gilani.

Development work in temples and Gurudwaras across the country is going on fast, all the minorities in the country are free and satisfied, said Rana Shahid Saleem, Additional Secretary Shirins.

Thanks to its policies, Pakistan is undoubtedly a pro-minority country. The Trust Board is at the forefront in the service of minorities, Rana Shahid Saleem.

The non-Muslim leaders participating in the event appreciated the steps taken by the Trust Board for the minorities and prayed for the country’s development and prosperity and national unity.

During the ceremony Sikh children presented national anthem and various national songs, at the end Chairman Board Habibur Rehman Geelani distributed special gifts to the guests
